Gansu signs deals worth 208b yuan at Lanzhou Fair

Representatives from Gansu province signed 59 investment promotion contracts with foreign and inland traders at the signing ceremony of key projects at the 21st Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair on July 7. The contracts are worth more than 208.08 billion yuan ($33.5 billion) according to reportage from Xinhuanet.

Representatives from 14 cities and Lanzhou New Area in Gansu attended the ceremony, inking several contracts with the United States, India and Ghana worth a combined total of $830 million.

The 21st Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair kicked off in Gansu province on July 6 and will come to a close on July 11.

At the key projects' signing ceremony, around 1,292 deals were reached in total, accounting for a contract value of 697.31 billion yuan. The contract value at this year's event increased by 46.17 billion yuan compared with last year.
