A Miao costume parade was held in Danzhai county, Guizhou province, on May 1.
Miao people from eight different ethnic branches wore splendid festival costumes and participated in the parade, to the wonder of foreign and domestic tourists.
One costume in particular stood out, the dress of Miao’s Ganao branch in Danzhai, which was listed as a national non-material cultural heritage in 2009.
