NETDA accumulatively offered 27 small loans worth 5 million yuan ($800,000) last year and helped 52 women start their businesses.

The women’s federation of NETDA promoted new technology of agricultural production among women and organized nearly 3,000 women to participate in practical technical training regarding vegetable and amphisarca cultivation and aquaculture. The finance department of NETDA established a women’s venture fund to carry out business employment assistance. Nine women were supported to set up pharmacies as entrepreneurship programs. Female technological innovation action was carried out, and eight women were made models of scientific and technological innovation.
