Various festivals held in Qingdao this summer have attracted swarms of tourists to the maritime city.

Along with traditional beer festival, the First Golden Beach International Camping Festival held in July and August drew tourists from around the globe. 1,000 tents placed at the shape of a dragon at the festival set a new Guinness World Record. In addition, the 3rd Golden Beach Beer Carnival received 20,000 visitors in its first two days.

Statistics show that 130,000 visitors flocked to Golden Beach on July 29, a peak for the month of July.
