The 10th Qingdao Orchid Exhibition will kick off at the Ai'jia International Jewelry City of Qingdao, Eastern China's Shandong province, on March 6, according to the Chinese-language Qingdao Evening Newspaper.

Sponsored by Qingdao Flower Association, the orchid exhibition will bring together hundreds of orchids from different provinces and regions in China.

Besides various kinds of orchids, the exhibition will also display calligraphy works and traditional Chinese paintings, featuring orchid. In addition, some of the orchids, calligraphy and painting works will go on a charity auction in a bid to raise funds to help the local students in need.
