Su Shi and Su Zhe were celebrated brothers among both politicians and men of letters in Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127).

Su Shi boasts excellent political skills and a great writer. Though suffering from twists in his political career, Su won high achievements in literature and was regarded as a genius of poems, verses and poetic essays.

Su's poems about Mount Tai were written with Su Zhe.
