In Australia you can buy and consume alcohol at 18. The 21 age limit that they have in America is better. Australia has huge social problems due to binge drinking by youngsters. We have kids getting involved in road accidents while drunk and then there's alcohol-related violence. If we increase the age to 21, we would significantly reduce the social problems caused by alcohol.
