Tourism booms during new year holiday

According to statistics published by Anhui Provincial Tourism Administration, Anhui province received 4.5434 million visitors during the New Year holiday, up by 18.14 percent, netting tourism revenue of 1.294 billion yuan, an increase of 32.35 percent.
During the 3-day holiday, the cities of Huangshan, Hefei, Wuhu, Bengbu, Bozhou, Lu'an, Chizhou, Huaibei and Anqing received 200 thousand tourists respectively while combined together the cities Chizhou, Huangshan, Lu'an, Hefei, Chaohu, Wuhu, Chuzhou, Anqing and Bozhou netted a total of 60 million yuan between them.
58 key scenic spots across Anhui received 660.9 thousand visitors, up by 16.16 percent, which brought 15.2225 million yuan in admission ticket sales, an increase of 24.4 percent. Huangshan Mountain scenic area received 13.6 thousand visitors, up by 18.78 percent, Jiuhua Mountain scenic area received 48 thousand visitors and Tianzhu Mountain scenic area received 9 thousand visitors.
