Language Service Forum held in Xi'an

The Forum for Language Service and Internationalization of Enterprises between East & West China was held in Xi'an on April 7.
This is the fist high-level forum in China which makes translation industry as the theme.
According to Zhang Shengzhao, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of Shaanxi, Shaanxi is the birth place of Chinese translation industry and is also the first province in China to establish Translators Association. Translation Industry Forum was first included into Investment & Trade Forum for Cooperation between East & West China (ITFCEW) in 2009.
Zhang said that Shaanxi would like to provide a communication platform for the language service in East & West China.
Shi Yanhua, former translator of Deng Xiaoping, attended the forum and said that it was a pioneering work for Shaanxi to make the forum into ITFCEW.
Free translation will be provided for customers during the sixteenth Investment & Trade Forum for Cooperation between East & West China.
