Culture and tradition greets New Year in 'swan city'

A series of performances were held at the Wenbo Opera House on Jan 9, to promote local cultural traditions and celebrate the incoming New Year.

Sponsored by Sanmenxia Daily and ismx.cn, some 1,000 performers, selected after four rounds of auditions, performed across a massive array of 98 shows, which included solo singing, dancing, opera, drama, and comedy sketches.

A celebration of culture and tradition, the shows were streamed live on video sharing platforms including Tencent, Sina, and Sohu.
