New bridge to link Sanmenxia's CBD with old town

Starting from Nov 2, 2017, the construction of the Qinglongjian River in Sanmenxia in western Henan province has been in full swing.

With total investment of nearly 142 million yuan ($20.58 million), the bridge spans 679.74 meters from north to south with eight ramps.

The bridge will be an important passage linking Sanmenxia's central business district (CBD) and the old town, and is expected to open to traffic by the end of April 2019.

As a key project to promote the balanced development of the city, the bridge also marks a significant livelihood project to relieve the traffic pressure and improves the basic facilities construction of Sanmenxia.
