Praying pig didn't escape its fate

On yesterday's trending, a pig groveling in front of the temple made news and came to be known as "the believing pig", according to news.66wz.com on Wednesday.

The owner of the pig has been found and he told its whole story. He has raised the pig for over a year and three of his pigs, including the now famous one, barged out of their enclosure because they didn't get enough fodder.

He didn't notice their escape until the afternoon, when he rounded them up,transporting them to the slaughterhouse that night.

He heard the story of the praying pig after the pigs were slaughtered. He said it is rare for a pig to prostrate itself like that rather than running away.

In our final story, villagers held a dogfight to celebrate Spring Festival.
