Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang is recovering in a London hospital after surgery on a torn Achilles tendon.
Two days after falling and tearing his Achilles tendon in a heat of the Olympic 110 meters hurdles, Liu Xiang underwent surgery at the Wellington Hospital in London.
Some of Liu's biggest fans came to the hospital, in the hope of seeing their idol.
Liu is expected to stay in the hospital for two or three days before returning to Shanghai.
