Inauguration ceremony of the new Embassy building of Uruguay in China took place on June 7, 2016 in Beijing. Visiting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay, Mr Rodolfo Nin Novoa, conveyed messages of congratulations on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
"Undoubtedly, before our 30th anniversary, which will celebrate soon, our friendship has been maturing and for that reason we get together more frequently, to chat more and more deeply." the Minister said.
The new Embassy building will host twice the number of diplomats and administrative staff, required to attend the variety of subjects, the Minister said.
