Norwegian artist and engraving specialist Martin Morck, who designs postage stamps and banknotes for many countries including China, presents Greenland Ice, Norwegian Water at He Gallery in Beijing's 798 Art Zone. The multimedia show opens Sept 19 and features paintings, prints, engravings and a film installation that capture life in a commercial fishing community 30 kilometers south of the capital, Nuuk. Morck and videographer Mikisoq captured ice and sea imagery during several trips in all four seasons, and Morck's musician son Truls composed a score for the film with "place-specific sounds" to create a dialogue between the industrialized human world and nature.
