Tatort (English translation is: Crime Scene) is the longest-running German language police procedural TV series, set in various parts of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It was exactly 40 years ago, On November 29, 1970, with "Taxi to Leipzig", began the murderous career Germany's most popular television crime series "Tatort".
