Mayor in Mexican border state killed

MEXICO CITY - A mayor in Mexico's border state of Tamaulipas was killed by gunmen, the office of Mexican President Felipe Calderon announced Sunday.
The daughter of Mayor Marco Antonio Leal Garcia of the town of Hidalgo was wounded in the attack, the office said.
This is the second killing of a mayor in the area in two weeks.
