(Xinhua) Updated: 2014-12-01 17:16

KABUL - Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left Kabul for Brussels on Monday to attend the conference of foreign ministers of the NATO-member states, a statement released by his office in Kabul said.

A high ranking delegation, including Ehief Executive of the Government Abdullah Abdullah and Presidential Advisor on National Security Mohammad Hanif Atmar, is accompanying the president in the tour to Brussels and London.

The president would leave Brussels for a four-day visit to London on Tuesday during which he would attend the London Conference on Afghanistan and also hold meetings with British officials including Prime Minister David Cameron to exchange views on matters relating mutual interests, the statement added.
