Heping Library is programmed in a way that visitors are given the feeling of being in the middle of a garden while visiting the library. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The library spans an area of 10,000 square meters featuring four themed halls, one art gallery and a central green space. The library is renovated into a green library fully integrated into the park's ecosystem while preserving its original structure.

Energy conservation and emission reduction are achieved through methods such as installing photovoltaic panels on the roof, bringing natural light through floor-to-ceiling glasses, and facilitating airflow by utilizing ventilation corridors.
