Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), the world's biggest lender by market value, yesterday posted a 36-percent growth in full year net profit.
Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, China's second largest insurer by market value, said Wednesday its net profit in 2008 plunged 94.4 percent from a year ago.
