Hostage crisis in Taiyuan

Two policemen try to grab the knife from a
kidnapper who took a young woman hostage in downtown Taiyuan city, capital of north China's Shanxi
Province September 13,2006. The hostage, slightly injured in one hand, was rescued.
The cause for the kidnapper's extreme action is still under investigation.
