Deng Yumin was raped by Japanese soldiers at the age of 16 and forced into sex slavery until the surrender of Japan in 1945. Deng was born in Shiqi village, Baoting county, Hainan province, in 1926. "The interpreter said that if I didn't go with them, they would kill me, my sister and all the people of my ethnic group." |
